WHERE IS THE EARTH ? |
Sometime ago astronomers decided to workout the ideal distance from the sun where the temperature would be just right for life. As it turned out, the best conditions are maintained at a distance of 150 million kilometers.
THAT IS PRECISELY WHERE THE EARTH IS !
Venus is, for instance a tiny bit closure to the Sun. As a result, it is so, that there are even some metals that melt in the inferno. While MARS is a trifle further off, and it is so cold that even carbon dioxide freezes into white ice there.

The world’s busiest Gold Bazar |
Thanks to our penchant for acquiring gold, it is estimated that there are more then 9500 tones ( worth about Rs: 493,000 crores) in India, mostly in private hands. That’s slightly more than 8% of all the gold recovered by mankind.
Today, with over a million goldsmith and some 230000 jewellers, ornaments remain the main use for gold over India.
Kerala and Delhi together account for 200 tones - more than a third of the nearly 510 tones of Gold consumed each year.
Only, about 2 tonnes of gold are mined annually in India, mainly at Kolar and Hulli mines in Karnataka.
