Scientific Theory: Professor Alan Guth - the Victor Weiskopfs professor of physics at MIT - Massachusetts two decade old article on his path breaking  'inflation' theory has created a lot of heat and excitement in the scientific community, after scientific data gleaned from BOOMERANG and MAXIMA experiments conclusively proved his concepts.

According to the theory propounded on the origin of universe by Prof.: Guth in 100 billion, trillion trillionth second, the universe underwent a period of rapid expansion doubling in size every - (hold your breath everybody!!) 0.000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,1 second - the process eventually expanded the cosmos (now get ready again)
100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times. Before 'inflation' began, the region destined to become universe was more than a billion times smaller than the size of a single proton.

BOOMERANG : (acronym for Balloon observation of Millimetric Extragallactic  Radiation and Geophysics)

MAXIMA : (acronym for Millimetre Anisotropy eXperiment imaging array)

Taffakur: I had an eye strain writing down all those sets of triple zeros and gleaning the above facts from a well researched article. When I first came across the article, believe me I was at my wits end, the facts and figures were beyond my comprehension. As I was thus puzzled and confused, I recalled from memory the Quranic ayaat, the tilawat of which I do every day.

Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" and it is!   Surah Ya -sin : 82

The mere literal meaning of the ayaat brought peace and tranquility. Here I would like to confess, that I am a mere toddler in respect of acquiring of 'ilm'. Those who have acquired proficiency, are well versed with the 'tawil' (symbolic hermeneutic interpretation), the 'batin' - 'lataif' and 'haqaiq' of each ayaat and words of the Glorious Quran. In merely reciting the ayaat and knowing the literal meaning, I beheld the Power and Glory of Allah.

I recited again and again the words 'kun' eyes closed  and then 'fayakun' -eyes wide open. I repeated many a times, and I came to grasp the meaning of the ayaat. More than 1400 years ago Allah revealed to His Blessed prophet Mohammad (S.A.) the origin of universe, in brevity which is unparalleled and has stood the challenge of many centuries, and will continue to do so.

Prof.: Alan Guth's path breaking theory is 'under the hammer' recently, but that is a different subject.

The 'ilm' of Ale Mohammad (S.A.) is so precise, concise and vast that it is simply beyond comprehension. Like a salt doll, who once decided to measure the depth of the ocean, as it neared the first small wave, it completely melted. Such is the vastness and depth.

The repository of the glorious 'Fatemi uloom and hikmah' in our times is none other than our beloved Aqa Moula (TUS)

'yeh ze kahe ya kare, haq che sarasar
samju (intelligent - rational human) te samjo
nasamju ( a dud in our parlance) na samjo'

Now that the month of Rabi-ul-ukhra has dawned upon us, a fragrant 'mausim' of abundance and joy - of celebration of milad mubarak of Imam-uz-Zaman (S.A.) may his 'zuhoor' be 'ankareeb' we fervently pray in the 'zaman' of our beloved Aqa Moula, whose 'milad' we also celebrate.

All Hamd is for Allah, do reflect upon His Glorious creation, and latch on to 'daman' of our benevolent 'Dai' - hold steadfast the rope of his 'valayat' like a mountaineer, who reposes full faith in his leader, who will surely and safely take him to the summit, inspite of the perils of the long climb.

May Allah grant my beloved Aqa Moula (TUS) sehato -afiyaat - ta- kiyamat. Ameen.

NOTE :  I seek your apologies for posting a slight lengthy write up, it being the fifth in the series, and  being the 1st of Rabi-ul-Ukhra, it occupies a special place. I enjoyed writing it, and hope you will enjoy reading and reflecting.I would be pleased to receive response from readers with regard to my taffakur series. Has it in any way brought a turnabout in your life. Whatever good that comes from these writings, I offer it as hadiyah to my beloved Moula (TUS) and whatever, shortcomings if any, are the result of my limited knowledge, for which I seek forgiveness.
